A note from our small honey farm to your table:

The flowers from which the bees gather their nectar affect every aspect of their honey from colour and flavour to, if it is raw honey, the speed with which it crystallizes. We strive to capture the unique flavours of honey made from the different flowers around us.

  • Dandelion, Willow & Spring Flowers
The first source of food our bees have access to in the spring is from willows and dandelions as well as other wild spring flowers. It is our strongest flavoured and deepest coloured honey with a mild floral scent.

  • Canola
When the canola is in bloom the bees don’t mess around but fill their hives to the brim with the nectar creating a mild and smooth tasting honey. This is our most popular flavour.

  • Clover, Alfalfa & Fall Flowers
After the canola is finished blooming, the wild clover, alfalfa and fall flowers are ready to create their own unique flavour of honey.  Not as mild as Canola, but not as strong as the Dandelion/Willow, the Clover/Alfalfa flavour is a beautiful middle ground between the two.

  • Crystallization
All raw honey naturally crystallizes.  If you find your honey too hard simply put the honey container in some water and slowly warm it until it reaches the right consistency for you.  Enjoy!
